Email sign off’s
Your email sign-off is just as important as your subject line. Your sign-off can have a huge impact on your subscribers. This is how you wrap up your email, blog, or newsletter, or just before ending the message.
I’m surprised at how many emails I read that don’t have a sign-off. This is a great opportunity to establish, connect, and build the know like and trust factor.
Emails are the most effective way to communicate directly with your customer on a personal level. If you don’t have an email provider to collect emails from your customers, you are missing the boat. I use Mailerlite.
I thought I would give you some examples of my email sign-offs to help you out.

Here are three reasons why email sign-offs are more important
They can easily connect with you: It makes you accessible and easy for them to contact you.
They are more likely to take action: Ending your newsletter or blog with a CTA (call to action) increases conversion.
They feel a personal touch: when adding a name and face to your newsletter or blog, it builds a connection.
Your signature sign-off is the last thing that sticks in their mind, so make it count!
Things to include in your sign-off
- Your contact information
- Links to your social media platforms
- Your name: signature
- A picture of yourself
- A logo
- A sign-off ending: Enjoy your day!
They are 3 things to keep in mind when writing your sign-off
Make it Personal
When ending your email, think about how you can give it a warm touch and authentically be yourself.
Use your brand voice
What I mean by that is, your brand voice is the way you speak to your audience. Think about what kind of tone you want to create. Be your authentic self. It should resonate with your audience.
1: Share your name and a profile picture
It helps when people can match a name and a face to the email they’re reading.
Adding your photo helps you to stand out from your competitors. It will also help people to recognize you from your social media platforms if you use the same picture or similar ones.

I believe in you.
2: Handwritten sign-off
By adding a handwritten signature to your email, you are adding a personal touch.
TIP: To add your handwritten signature, write it out on a piece of white paper. Scan or photograph it, save it in a png or jpg, and insert it into the body of your email.
You can also send it to FIVERR and have a graphic artist create it for you and send you the extension files and transparency so you can add it easily to your newsletters.

3: Contact information
If you want to have a higher response rate from your subscribers, then you need to make it super easy for them to follow up with you.
Add your phone number, email address.

4: Add a P.S. line after your sign-off
That little P.S. line will actually pique their curiosity
Inserting a P.S. line after your sign-off is your last chance to share important links and information—and a lot of your subscribers will be sure to check it out.

5: Use a CTA (Call to action)
Your sign-off is also your last chance to get your subscribers to convert before they leave the email or blog.
Your CTA could be a link to download a worksheet, signup form, or a freebie.

6: Be unique
Stand out, be different, be unique.
It’s OK to think outside the box and try new things. It makes you more memorable. Just remember that you stay on brand with your brand and audience.
EXAMPLE
Phew! Now I need a lie-down
7: Thank YOU
Just a simple thank you makes all the difference.
Emails that end with some form of “thank you” receive a much higher response.
